Location was fantastic and facilities were new and good. we were received by Ms Ashley at the reception. She was very warm and hospitable when she received us. As we were travelling with a young child, she took initiative in checking for the earliest available room for us (we arrived before check in timing) and for us to bring our napping child to rest. All in all, we were very impressed with her attentiveness and service centric attitude. We met Ms Ashley again during checkout and during our small talk, she came to know that we were travelling to Miaoli. She impressed us once again by pro actively checking for the various attractions/food recommendations at Miaoli and sent it to us via email. Well done to Cityinn for having such employees who not only do their job well, but goes on with extra mile in ensuring customers are well received and leave cityinn with good service experience. We will definitely recommend cityinn to our friends who are visiting Taiwan.

Room was clean, location was very near to the train station, and the staff were super delightful and helpful. They attended to our queries and needs very well. They've even left a small snack in our room each day. The free self service common areas were a very nice benefit. We did not use the laundry but definitely can see it being very useful for a longer stay.

Excellent location right next to the main station. Public transport in the city isn't as convenient as it is in some other Taiwanese cities, but we were pleasantly surprised how pedestrian-friendly this city was (especially near the station, arts museum and the canal). Many sights and attractions are within walking distance (weather permiting). The rooms were modern and clean and the laundry room can be used free of charge.

Location was excellent. Just beside the Taichung train station and with food options and convenience stores within walking distance. Rooms were clean with snacks, coffee & tea, amenities, and bottled water provided daily. Parking is available within walking distance from the hotel.

Excellent breakfast with a great range of things to try. Free Assam milk tea, coffee, and lemon tea in the lobby, as well as free laundry. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was not large, but it had a clean and modern look.

Friendly counter staff, good location (very short walk from the station), clean room. There was also a good quality steamer available for use (apart from the standard iron) which was really great. Some complimentary drinks were also provided at the lobby.

The room is very clean and cosy and conveniently located and easy to get to from the train station (note: Not HSR station but TRA train station). It is actually a nice place to stay especially for a quick stop-over.

Amazing value for money. Excellent location and breakfast. Of course it cannot compete with 5 star hotels but it also does not cost much so we need to judge this place based on its cost. Highly recommended, I will stay there again if I am in Taichung.

The location is great, really close to Taichung train station. Although I already know the room is gonna be a bit small when I reserved, the quality is actually quite nice. The room is neat, clean, and quiet.
